This burger really had nothing to it, it was basically meat and bread with no other flavours.

There was pretty much no sauce, no cheese and it only had 2-3 pieces of burnt caramelised onions.

The menu at the Water Rat Hotel in South Melbourne is really fancy and I think this is more of an upper class pub. All the other customers were in suits and were smartly dressed.

The meat itself was really good quality, but when nothing else complements it, it ends up being a bit flavourless and plain.

I wont be going back here for a burger, probably wont even go back for a meal.

Also, so much for house cut chips, these were just normal shoe string fries similar to that at McDonald’s, I kind of like them, but no need to say they are house cut.
