When I walked into Fathers Office, I was really excited, it was a great day and this place is situated two levels up with a great view of the Melbourne CBD. Burgers were being served to most of the tables so I did get a peak of what was to come before I made my order. They also have a $15 special but not for the biggest burger on the menu.
I ordered the Man Burger and a serving of both the Buffalo Wings and the Louisiana Fried Wings because I couldn’t decide which wings to try and the waitress said they are the two most popular on the menu.
The food arrived relatively quickly which is always a good sign, but the food itself was a huge let down.
The meat was way too salty and it was over cooked, the egg was also over cooked and there was a severe lack of sauce.
For me, I felt like they were trying too hard on this burger, 4 pieces of cheese and beer battered fries – really?
Both type of the wings were also not amazing, if I were to rate them, they would both get around a 6.5 – 7 / 10.
I also saw the slider come out to another table, they were literally bite size, three bites and all done.
With so many other burgers places so close to Fathers Office, I would bypass this place and walk to either Gloria Swanston’s Kitchen or Charlie and Co which are both less than 5 minutes away.
