Besides the fact that I paid basically $30 for my burger, it was actually really good and it was my most expensive burger to date.

Being on domain road on the border of South Yarra and Toorak it is a fine dining restaurant with a very small menu, I only knew this place had a burger because I saw it on my instagram feed in the ‘pictures you may like’ section and I was in the area so thought I would give it a try.

The beef patties were nice and soft and had the melt in your mouth texture, they were also nice and juicy and that cheese, wow it couldn’t have been any better. I couldn’t work out what the sauce used was, but I did taste garlic and I could literally smell the burger scent coming off me until the next meal. I do like the brioche and complemented the over taste.

With 180g patties being used, they are a decent size and would satisfy most people. With only a single patty that would bring the price down to $22.90 which isn’t too bad and is around the standard for a cafe in this area.

I did enjoyed this burger and if the opportunity arose to go back to Entrecote, I would order this again. Probably just go the single patty though as I couldn’t justify another $30 burger.
