After a second visit to Kustom Burgers in Thornbury and sampling both their beef and fried chicken burgers, I have to admit, these guys are onto a real winner and only wish I lived closer! The burger pictured isn't really what I ordered, but it tasted so good that I didn't really care. The fried chicken was nice and crunchy and super flavoursome and there were 2 of them!

On visit 1, there wasn't a whole lot of seating at Kustom Burgers, but come visit 2, they have renovated the back area to include a whole bunch of sitting booths and a bar. Also ordered were loaded fries and the current special milkshake (pictured below), this was full of flavour and definitely one that I would order again, just show them my picture if you want it.

The beef burger from Kustom Burgers reminded me a lot like Tuckshop Takeaway. The patties were soft and cooked to a medium, they were lightly salted and juicy to the point where it left a decent size puddle left on the plate.

Up the road is 'Welcome to Thornbury' a food truck park, you will find the same old average burgers and if you want my personal choice, go to a food truck park when they are at foodie events, go to Kustom Burgers if you are in the area and want a high quality burger, fries and shake combo.
