Burger Review

One reason to go to Springvale besides Ikea and that is Cultural Commons.

Don’t be fooled by the tinted glass windows and thinking this place is closed, they are open for business and from my experience they are on the right track for great success! From what used to be a men’s entertainment venue, Cultural Commons is now a funky trailer park feel type of café/restaurant.

With a decent size burger menu, there is something for everyone. Veggies burgers, beef burgers, soft shell crab burgers, fish burgers and fried chicken burgers that range from $14 - $18 and are served with fries, gluten free options are also available.

The beef patties in The American Nightmare were cooked medium to perfection with a nice pink centre. Big 180g patties with a perfect cheese melt and soft buns puts this burger very high on the list of all lists.

Make the drive to Springvale to try Cultural Commons, it is well worth the drive from anywhere in Melbourne and 100% should be on everyone’s burger list.

While I came for the burger, the Mrs ordered a pizza. Below is the Capricciosa pizza, pizza’s range from $13 - $18. A nice thin base with the perfect amount of cheese. Soft while crunchy, this pizza was very enjoyable and good alternative if your partner doesn’t want a burger. Not my cuisine of choice, but each to their own :P

*Currently I have only been to Cultural Commons once, but am keen to head back and try both their fried chicken and softshell crab burgers.
